Sixteen players from Maleny Golf Club competed in Woodford Golf Club’s Single Stroke Medley Event. Our members’ golf is improving with regular play and scores are getting better week by week. Merv Bonney was second in the overall competition and Doug Hancock maintained his red hot form. Maleny results were

Twenty players teed up today, on another brilliant sunny day in Maleny. Despite the dry period everything is green and fresh. Our Encouragement Award (aka the Bradman) was won by our fearless leader leader, President Max Whitten, who won a can of tennis balls.

Sixteen players made the monthly visit to Kilcoy Golf Club’s monthly Senior’s Event, an Individual Stableford Medley. Another great day and everyone enjoyed the hospitality from the Kilcoy Club. Doug Hancock continued his fine run of form and for the second week in a row won the overall event as well as the Maleny group.
