Sixteen players hit off 0n the Maleny Golf Club’s temporary holes for the first eight hole competition of 2014. The weather was a bit threatening but considering the conditions this was a good roll up. Results were

Eighteen players competed in Woodford Golf Club’s Single Stableford Medley event. It was so hot that many of the players who usually walk the course, ordered a golf buggy. Our winner of the day was John Oxenham with Rod Waldron second, these boys won our competition on the day and scooped the pool and were first and second in the Woodford Golf Club’s competition. After our 8 Hole Competition on Thursday 19th December 2014 our players enjoyed a bite to eat and a few drinks while reminiscing on our year of golf. Twenty nine players teed up on the day and the scores indicated an improving standard. There were many highlights throughout the year including our first hole in one a couple of months ago. Our fields have increased in size over the year and Thursday has become a regular event for many. Continue reading
