The sun finally came out for the first time in almost a week so a good field turned out to play. However, it was Tom Bertwistle who collected the winner’s prize (which he had to present to himself) after recording a score of 39 points. Tom won on a count back from Jack Day with Marcus Wellington just a point back on 38 in third place. Nearest the Pins went to Mike Finley on the 3rd and Mark Green on the 5th. It was a chilly morning on the course but that only served to generate some hot scores when the cards were in! Mike Burgis and Scott Alexander posted an impressive winning score of 48 points – two clear up Runners Up Mike Finley and Mal Ewing. Richard and Owen and Bill Reynolds appear to have come in 3rd although the Match Committee encountered problems with the software templates and there could be a protest.
