It was a chilly morning on the course but that only served to generate some hot scores when the cards were in! Mike Burgis and Scott Alexander posted an impressive winning score of 48 points – two clear up Runners Up Mike Finley and Mal Ewing. Richard and Owen and Bill Reynolds appear to have come in 3rd although the Match Committee encountered problems with the software templates and there could be a protest.

Former Maleny Captain John Pottage has been struggling with both the terrain and injury since returning for a winter sojourn in Maleny but hit a purple patch to card a winning score of 38 points today – a point ahead of Runner Up Bill Reynolds who pipped Gary Dallyn on a count back. Denis O’Neill got the pin on the 3rd and Peter Gilbert win the ball for his approach to the 5th.

A glorious sunny winter’s day for golf and congratulations go to Neil Gould who posted a winning score of 41 points – 5 clear of runner-up Mal Ewing who had a score of 36 and edged out Gary Dallyn on a countback. Although it was a rather brisk morning the sun came out and shined on Sue Hardy who won the competition with 36 points – 1 point ahead of Runner-up Karen Heading.
