Sixteen players made the monthly visit to Kilcoy Golf Club’s monthly Senior’s Event, an Individual Stableford Medley.  Another great day and everyone enjoyed the hospitality from the Kilcoy Club.  Doug Hancock continued his fine run of form and for the second week in a row won the overall event as well as the Maleny group.

Thursday attracted twenty four players including some young golfers enjoying their school holidays.  Once again the weather was kind.

Our usual Thursday eight hole competition at Maleny attracted 24 players, on a beautiful sunny day, if a little warm. We were able to shelter in the shade of Stage 1 of our new temporary club house, a 40′ container. Results were;

Important – Last week’s winner Denis Hickey failed to bring the John Oxenham Trophy, he will be subject to sanction, the penalty is yet to be determined.

Eighteen Maleny Mob players competed in a Single Stableford Medley at Woodford.  Hard dry condition meant there was plenty of run, with some of our players now believing they are “big hitters”, at least until we get rain.
