Bricks and Mortar!

Dear Member,

A part of our course that was not in the original budget is the 130m concrete path and bridge between the second green and third tees.  Construction of this path and bridge is the final hurdle for completion of our first nine holes. To maintain our high standards we are outsourcing this project to professional contractors. Partly because of the difficult terrain, the project will cost around $25,000. The photo below shows the area of the proposed construction.

We are inviting members to be part of this final phase by donating to the funding of:

• one or more of the 35 cubic metres of concrete (at $150 per cubic metre),
• one or more of the 25 treated hardwood planks for the bridge ($27.00 each), or
• one or more of the 380 bricks for the retaining wall ($3 each).

We would be happy to write your initials into the concrete for donations of one or more cubic metres, or write your name under ‘your’ hardwood plank and on ‘your’ bricks (even though the names won’t show, they will be there for eternity!), to acknowledge your support and participation in building this great golf course.
