On Saturday 27th September 2014,  just before the annual cricket grudge match between the local maulers and Andrew Powell’s celebratory team kicked off today, some of the politicians visited the Precinct. Maleny District Sport and Recreation Club (MDSRC), Maleny Equestrian groups and Maleny Golf Club (MGC) gave them a brief introduction to the Precinct. It was a very positive discussion for all. Steve Dickson (Minister for National Parks, Recreation, Sport & Racing and our local member and Patron, Andrew Powell (Minister for Environment and Heritage Protection) are very impressed with the efforts to have so many organisations under an umbrella group like MDSRC.
